Camping at Mountain Bike Oregon

Tents, Vans, Trailers & RVs Are All Welcome!

Camping is included in your ticket! Set up along the river with acres of space to spread out. First come, first choice on your spot.

Camping Details – Camping on site is included in your festival pass!

Camping Supply List

Our campground is an old mill site with plenty of room for everyone: grassy areas for tents, paved spots for RVs and trailers, and open fields in between. We mow and level as much as possible before you arrive. First come, first choice on camp spots!

What to Bring:

  • All your sleeping gear: tent, sleeping bags, pillows, bedding, and a rain cover (morning dew is real)
  • Shade structure: Pop-ups, tarps, or anything to escape the afternoon sun
  • Tent stakes and weights: Wind picks up in the afternoons, so secure your setup
  • Camp chairs
  • Cooler with ice for your food and snacks (ice available for purchase in town or across the bridge at Westfir Lodge)
  • Snacks and any extra food you want at camp
  • Water: There are no water hookups, so bring plenty
  • Trash bags: Limited garbage on site, so pack out what you pack in (especially recycling)
  • Generator (optional): If you bring one, please turn it off between 9 PM and 7 AM to keep the peace

Food & Beverages:

  • Breakfast (optional add-on): If you purchased during registration, we’ve got you covered
  • Lunch: Included! Sack lunch based on your choice during registration
  • Dinner: Food carts on site, purchase on your own
  • All beverages (non-alcoholic and adult): Included in your ticket and flowing all weekend

Important Reminders:

  • Fires: Only tabletop propane stoves with shut-off valves allowed for cooking meals. No wood fires or ground-level propane fires allowed.
  • No hookups: Come fully self-contained
  • Water shoes recommended for the swimming hole
  • Lock your bike when not riding (security is on site, but better safe than sorry)
  • Porta potties available throughout the camping area

Claim your spot, set up camp, and get ready for three days of epic riding!

Swimming Hole Access

Yep, you read that correctly! Our private swimming hole is steps away from camp, with a short trail leading down to a sandy beach where you can stash your towels and kick back in the shade.

The perfect spot to cool off after crushing trails all day. Soak in the shallows with a cold beverage, float around, or just lounge on the beach while everyone else is out riding. Water shoes are recommended.

Fair warning: the water is cold and the current can be swift, so use your head and stay safe out there.

This is where everyone converges in the afternoons to relive the day’s best moments, share the stoke, and swap trail stories. Whether you’re riding all three days or hanging at camp, this is your own private slice of PNW paradise.

Not Wanting to Camp?

We get it, camping is not for everyone (but we swear it is super fun and safe, no need to drive to your accommodations after evenings in the beverage garden). Oakridge and Westfir are small communities, so here are some recommendations for places to stay:

  • Westfir Lodge: The lodge is directly across the covered bridge from the festival. The only ride in, ride out accommodation in the area! We recommend booking early to ensure you can reserve a room.
  • Bluewolf Motel: A locally owned, budget & pet friendly motel in Oakridge on Highway 58, less than a 10 minute drive from the festival location.
  • Jasper Lodge: A 3+ bedroom, 2 bathroom house rental in uptown Oakridge, a short drive from MBO. Family friendly and in the heart of town. Website: Available on Airbnb (search “Jasper Lodge Oakridge”)
  • Oakridge Inn & Suites: Located on Highway 58 in Oakridge, less than a 10 minute drive from the festival location.
  • Arbor Inn Motel: A pet friendly, bike friendly motel in Oakridge on Highway 58, less than a 10 minute drive from the festival.
  • Airbnb & VRBO: Many additional options available in both Westfir and Oakridge.

Note: If you are staying off site, there is room to park your vehicle at MBO during the day.
